Eva Knauth discusses self-publishing on Mediapart (in French) and acknowledges a debt to Emily Brontë.
(Translation)
Wired's Geekmom reviews and suggests the online shop Out of Print.
My son immediately snagged the Lord of the Flies and The Maltese Falcon shirts for himself. (In fact, receiving The Maltese Falcon t-shirt prompted him to pick up the book and read it, so score one for Out of Print!) They’ve become his favorite shirts, not only because he likes the graphics on them but because they’re comfortable. He’s told me several times – unprompted – how well the shirts fit and how soft they are. “And you know mom, there are some other cool ones on their site,” he hints.
He’s right. Nancy Drew and The Sign of the Twisted Candles,Harry the Dirty Dog, Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel, and Jane Eyre are just a few of the options that are available on t-shirts for men, women, and children, as well as on stationery, tote bags, and other accessories. (Kris Bordessa)

The Briarfield Chronicles has bought several books, including a 1950s edition of May Sinclair's The Three Brontës.
